His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada is the founder-acharya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON). From 1966 to 1977 he created ISKCON; produced dozens of books including translations and commentary on Bhagavad-gita, Srimad-bhagavatam, Sri Caitanya-caritamrta, Sri Isopanisad, Sri Upadesamrta; opened over 100 temples around the world; initiated thousands of disciples, converting almost all of them from outside Vaishnavism; established the Bhaktivedanta Institute to counter atheistic scientists; inaugurated annual Ratha Yatra festivals in many major cities of the world, introduced ISKCON Food for Life food distribution; and much much more.
